Two new Board Members Join to Help Drive Global Growth
(Birmingham, UK) Global translation service provider, Mission Translate, today announces the appointment of two new Board members, industry experts Alex Batchelor and Danny Russell, to advise and assist in the company’s global growth and expansion strategy.
Batchelor is the Chair at Watch Me Think, the global consumer empathy agency, and an advisor to several private equity/venture capital funds. He has worked in senior international marketing and commercial roles on the client-side for TomTom, Royal Mail, Orange and Unilever, as well as on the agency-side with BrainJuicer (now System1), Interbrand and Saatchi & Saatchi. He served as a former Chair of the Marketing Society as well as a fellow of the Marketing Academy, as well as an active member of marketing and market research societies in the UK, Australia, South Africa and the US.
Russell currently runs his strategic consultancy working with clients, to realize more ‘commerciality’ from their insights, and with agencies to refine their propositions to boost growth. He also serves as a Non-Executive Director at Omnicom’s ad and brand research firm, Hall & Partners; and human insight agency, Further. During his 27-year client-side career, Russell held senior insight & data roles at Boots, Kraft, British Airways, Sky, Flutter and O2. As well as being a previous Chair of the MRS (and now a Fellow), he is a past Chair of AURA.
